Ms Sonya Milanova, Teacher of History at St Paul’s School (London)

Mrs Miranda Rawlinson, Head of History at Pate’s Grammar School (Cheltenham)

Mr Joshua Garry, Head of History at Park View School (Haringey)

Mr Daniel Coyle, Headteacher at The Cardinal Wiseman School (Ealing)

The primary sources were brilliant! A good mix of written and photographic sources meant that all students were able to access the content of the session.

Grange Academy

The use of primary sources was really interesting and thought provoking. I think the story of the couple and their experience in the 1930s and WW2 was a great hook.

St Paul’s School (London)

Many thanks for such a detailed and well-paced session which allowed students to engage with a range of authentic sources.

Never has educational provision of this nature been more relevant.

St John Ogilvie High School

I loved that the session followed real people and pupils could see how their lives were changed by coming to Britain and also that for so many others this was not the case. I think the use of primary source materials was an excellent way to deliver this content.

Mearns Castle High School (Glasgow)
