Esther has been reading Martin Gilbert articles and books for 40 years; she corresponded with him for 7 years. They met. They began corresponding more. And here we are!

From 2000 to 2007 she created Holocaust Memoir Digest, which uses excerpts from published survivor memoirs to study aspects of the Holocaust.  Three volumes were published by Vallentine Mitchell.  She wrote and taught an introductory course on the Holocaust for university students.

Since Sir Martin became ill in 2012 she has worked to keep his work in print and his legacy alive.  She redesigned his website https://www.martingilbert.com/ and creates monthly e-newsletters that focus on his work and approach.
