Agnes Grunwald-Spier will talk about her family’s experiences during the Holocaust in Hungary, and how undertaking an MA in Holocaust Studies in her 50s led her to write three books. She will also recount some of the stories from her latest book, which focuses on women’s experiences. Agnes, who was a baby in the Budapest Ghetto, was awarded an MBE in 2016 for her ‘services to Holocaust awareness’.
